Ladder logic utilizing Jump (JMP) and Master Control Reset (MCR) will be introduced along with Jump to Subroutine (JSR) instruction.
To effectively troubleshoot a PLC-based system, one must know how the PLC’s Memory Structure is used throughout the ladder logic program. Therefore, one and two dimension arrays must be thoroughly understood. This will be accomplished by troubleshooting ladder logic that includes instructions such as Fill File (FLL), Copy File (COP), and Average File (AVE). Other instructions include Bit Shift Right/Left (BSR)/(BSL), First-In-First-Out (FIFO) Load/Unload (FFL/FFU), Last-In-First-Out (LIFO) Load/Unload (LFL/LFU), Masked Move (MVM), and Sequencer Output (SQO) circuits using Array, Mask and Output tables.
In addition, each participant will learn how to troubleshoot ladder logic that uses Indirect Addressing and “Add-On Instructions.”
